Treatments
-
Acupuncture
Hair-thin needles are applied to the body. Acupuncture is beneficial for many ailments, including digestive issues, muscular skeletal pain, stress reduction, menstrual irregularity, and fertility.
Other modalities that may be included in an acupuncture treatment include body gua sha, moxibustion, electrical stimulation, and herbal medicine.
-
Facial Acupuncture
Tiny needles are applied at a shallow depth in the face and body. Facial acupuncture is beneficial for increasing elasticity, improving skin texture and tone, increasing collagen production, and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. In a facial acupuncture treatment, we treat both the internal body and face, because whatever is happening internally will appear on the face as well.
-
Gua Sha
Facial gua sha is the application of a jade gua sha tool on the face to reduce puffiness by removing lymph and excess fluids from the face. It can help with puffiness, under eye bags, under eye darkness, fluid retention, muscular tension and TMJ. Facial gua sha may be included in a facial acupuncture treatment, if necessary.
Body gua sha can help to reduce muscle tension. Body gua sha may be included in an acupuncture treatment, if necessary.

Returning Acupuncture Treatment
75 min, $225
Sometimes we require a little more attention! This session is for patients who need some extra time on the table. For example, if we need to do body gua sha for tight muscles on the back of the body, but also want to address internal issues with needles on the front of the body (digestive, menstrual, etc). This give us plenty of time to address both issues without the pressure of time.
Facial Acupuncture and Gua Sha
75 min, $300 (inquire for packages)
Facial acupuncture includes both body acupuncture and facial acupuncture, as well as facial gua sha. Whatever issues are facing the body will show up in the face, and vice versa. We use high quality, organic, facial products from Myhavetorn of Sweden and Anfisa.
